Description
Unitas Aureus is Latin for Golden Unity. This is a reference to the golden jubilee of the Limburg federation of Tambour Corps in 2011. The composition was donated to the LBT by the United Dutch Music Unions. The unity of the LBT is expressed in this composition: traditionally, the musical landscape of the LBT consists of drum bands and percussion ensembles in addition to flute and drum corps and hunting horn, clarion and trumpet corps. These typical elements are united in this composition into a single whole. The basis in this composition is the percussion ensemble with melodic percussion in which a synthesis is formed with flute and signal instruments.
