Program Notes

This work describes the flight of an emblematic traditional bird in Ecuadorian fauna: the hummingbird, also known as Quinde (coming from the Quichua languaje: Quindi) Making use of the technical resources of the contemporary marimba brings out the virtuosity of the performer who recounts the daily life of this incredible bird. Nature, which is always next to the bird, converts its existence into a mosaic of atmospheres.
