Description
1600 is a composition in 3 parts about the Battle of Nieuwpoort. The first part is about the march from Philippine to Nieuwpoort. The 2nd part depicts the battle and the 3rd part features the prayer of thanksgiving by army commander Maurits. My intention with this composition was to write a work for ensembles that want to start playing concert percussion music.
