This is a well-constructed three movement work which requires advanced reading and technical skills from both players. Both parts include keyboard as well as other percussion instruments. It would make a good addition to a college recital program. Notation is standard, and all three movements have a strong sense of pulse. - Al Payson, Fall 1979
