Musica Terrae was originally written for the Arasmas Percussion Group as a percussion quartet and expanded for the University of Georgia Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Timothy Adams Jr. The piece presents three different scenes and a growing clash between nature, represented by three different music box melodies, and humanity.
