“#Fa Si La Timbale” allows you to develop two of the most important aspects to master for playing the timpani: articulation and ear training.
Regarding articulation, each study is preceded by technical exercises related to the punctuations encountered (louré, accent, staccato, legato...). The learning then focuses on the different playing techniques that allow for the proper execution of these articulations.
The fact that each study is accompanied allows students to train their ear and, consequently, significantly improves their tuning accuracy. In addition to the pleasure of playing with their teacher, the student will develop genuine chamber music reflexes.
