I would highly suggest Drum Set Reading for a percussionist learning drum set or wanting to know how to read drum set music. This book starts with the basics of drumming from a few rudiments, solo development and how to hit or strike cymbals. Also it goes over counting and different patterns like a jazz waltz, rock, and shuffle pattern. This book lacks dynamics though and it could go over an actual drum set on how to strike the drum heads and maybe on how to set up a drum set. <br>
