As a performer, Cody is a well-rounded percussionist, obtaining the titles of Drumline Captain and Principal Percussionist of the University Symphony Orchestra while at Texas Tech. Holmes has also received high marks as a performer including his selection as finalist for the Texas Tech Concerto Competition. Cody has maintained a strong interest in writing since high school and published his first composition as an undergrad. Since then, his works have been published and performed internationally by students and professionals featuring performances in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Cody is currently a Percussion Director and is an Innovative Percussion educator.
