Jacco Boganen started his career as a percussionist at the local music association at the age of 8. During his studies it soon became clear that his field of work became a combination of playing, teaching and composing/arranging. Since 1990 he has played in various major musicals (Les Mis, Cats, Miss Saigon, etc.) and he has also used his didactic possibilities (including at the Stichting Kunstheden Vorming Rotterdam). In addition, various mallets and percussion pieces by his hand were regularly published. At the moment his emphasis is mainly on the educational and design areas. He is also active as a drummer in his jazz formation.
