‘’’5 X 5’’’ was commissioned by Ryan Smith. It is a dramatic and high energy solo for multiple percussion that features variable instrumentation and primal vocal calls with interwoven sections of tense emotion and driving grooves. The medium length and difficulty of the piece, combined with its mobility, make it perfect for any event, be it recital, gig, concert hall or street performance.
