Gian Prince works extensively as a free-lance percussionist with various symphony orchestras. In the same period, Gian was also often active as a jazz drummer. This unique combination of light and classical music can often be heard in his compositions. Gian Prince composed his first piece in 1988 and many more would follow. His compositions are often programmatic. These musical "stories" often appeal strongly to the imagination of listeners. Currently, Gian works as a teacher, composer, conductor and free-lance musician (mostly as a (bass) guitarist or as a keyboard player).
