Description
This is a wonderful collection of five sequential marimba solos by world-renowned jazz vibraphonist Jon Metzger. Each piece is based on a mode or scale common in everyday jazz performance. The scale/mode appears at the top of each piece so the student may learn it with the piece. Step-by-step instructions for approaching the pieces are printed in the front of the book, while optional piano vamps are included in the back of the book for improvisation purposes.
