Aequilibrium by [[Mathew Campbell]] is a gorgeous, spiraling percussion ensemble that will entrance any audience. This all-keyboard ensemble combines metallic and wood sounds to create a balanced, harmonic atmosphere with periodic dissonance to create a statement on nature. [[Mathew Campbell]] says the piece is about "balance in nature. The ideas of yin-and-yang and ebb-and-flow" permeate the 5-minute piece, with gentle polyrhythms and harmonic modulations creating movement within the warm, wide textures.
