=== Online Review ===
This is an unaccompanied marimba solo requiring two mallets that uses a contrapuntal approach to create a "stride piano" effect under a catchy, repetitive, syncopated melody. The piece, primarily in 2/4, contains very few accidentals but does contain several 3/8 measures that require an understanding of metric transition. The 2 1/2-minute piece may be performed on a 4-octave marimba and would introduce the student to both the stride piano and ragtime tradition. This composition is recommended for the junior high/high school student as either a contest selection or a short feature. - Terry O'Mahoney, October 1995 <ref> [http://www.pas.org PAS.ORG] Retrieved 5/29/2012</ref>
