In 2008 we filled a transit van with music collected from Ron Armstrong in Bournemouth, the original home for Southern Percussion and then spent the next few months working hard making a database and building our first website. Slowly, we added sticks, mallets, and instruments to our forever growing inventory. We now present to you the The Southern Percussion that you know, specialising in classical, orchestral, and marching instruments and over 10,000 tittles of percussion sheet music. Our new purpose built showroom is the percussionist’s dream with walls lined with mallets, instruments and accessories and our ethos is to sell only what we would be happy to use ourselves. | |
