Amanda Sycamore has been performing and teaching private lessons in the Triad area of North Carolina for over 20 years. Amanda is currently the Principle Percussionist for the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the bands LOW KEY and THE BEAUTY OPERATORS, 'diggin' the blues' out of Durham. Past performances include Busch Gardens Entertainment, DCI, and Jamestown Pipes and Drums. She has performed as a marimba soloist and ensemble member for several Percussive Arts Society Days of Percussion as well as PAS International Conventions, and continues to perform as a freelance percussionist and pianist in the Triad area. When she is not performing, she enjoys spending time with her son Aidan, and puppy Koda.
