The valley: It is based on Afro Ecuadorian music, both in the coastal area and in the mountains, in which both themes converge as a mestizaje to give way through a marimba cadence to "Lo Sacro" alone. The Sacred: Based on the religious processions, it seeks to capture the song and Funeral march through the long pilgrimage of the faithful. Los Andes: Composed in 5/4 and 4/4, it begins with small typical sounds in the first part of an Andean ascension, followed by the forceful force of the mountain giving way to the unequaled splendor of the Ecuadorian Andes whose theme is climax end of the work gives way to a small Coda that says goodbye and closes this trip to Ecuador and its colors. | |
