Slap Shift by J.B. Smith is a very unique ensemble consisting of 6 [[conga]] players! This uncommon ensemble is great for those who may not have a lot of [[conga]] experience that want a challenge. This piece is one of the first in its kind in that it has notated [[conga]] techniques and a tutorial included to assist [[conga]] players in order to play the instrument correctly. This piece is in 12/8 and is filled with traditional conga and Latin rhythms.
