Pulling in material from all sorts of famous orchestral timpani parts, this book is excellent lesson material. [[Richard Hochrainer]] also includes a very healthy dose of practical and pedagogical advice in the opening pages, which would normally be very expensive to learn in a one-on-one lesson situation with a professional.
