The piece follows an AABACA form that serves as the basic structure for the improvised solos. After the solos, the main theme is repeated and followed by a short improvised coda over a bass line ostinato. The piece is features on my new 2014 CD project Marimjazzia. The piece is written in the key of A major but it does explore other tonalities such as C, A-flat and F.
