Taiwanese marimba player, Lin Chin Cheng is famous worldwide for possessing a talent of uncommon ability and as an exceptionally gifted artist. Indeed, he has received numerous awards and enthusiastic critics for his shows and records as well as for his original and insightful interpretations of the marimba repertoiry. [1]

Invited to perform for the Belgian Royal Family and hailed for his musical and technical mastery, he successively received the following awards: "European Champion Soloist Award" in 2007, "Culture Outstanding Award" by the Taipei Representative Office in Belgium and in Europe for the promotion of the Taiwanese arts.

During the 2013-2014 season, Lin Chin Cheng performed at the International Percussion Festival in Vilnius, the International Percussion Festival of Croatia, the Universal Marimba Festival, the Santa Fe Marimba Festival, the 6th International Percussion Festival at Tomar in Portugal.

He also toured for concerts in China, Romania, Russia, Israel, South Korea and the United States...

He played with the Pekin Symphony Orchestra, the Vilnius Chamber Orchestra, Novosibirsk Chamber Orchestra, Seoul National University Symphonic Band and Leuven University Symphony Orchestra, etc...
