Robert McCarthy is a percussionist, composer, arranger, and writer from Boston, MA. Notable accolades include Marist Band President and the Baccalaureate Award for Excellence in Music. Additionally, Robert has a number of published articles on music in print and electronic media, including the Journal of the Association of Concert Bands as well as GoldenFlair.com online music blog. With theatrical shows like Blue Man Group and PACE percussion trio in mind, Robert enjoys composing and arranging music with high energy and audience enjoyment.
