Performance Notes

In “Toms, Baby, TOMS!” the drum set player needs to lay down a solid rock groove. The tempo of the piece is marked 108 and shouldn’t be played any faster than that so as to maintain a heavy metal attitude. Set up with the four tom players hi to lo - left to right, with the drum set behind them, but spread out so the drum set player can be seen from the audience. You can double the tom parts for a bigger ensemble. Make sure they play with lots of precision and ROCK OUT DUDE!
