ELLIOT SOKOLOV is a composer, producer, and remixer based in New York. With a background in film and tv scoring, rock/pop, concert music, electronica, dance and theatre, Elliot's eclectic musical pallette sees him commanding a wide mix of musical styles, creating original music and songs for a variety of film, TV, animation, advertising, dance, theatre, performance art, and media productions. Elliot's documentary film scoring includes "Kings Park", "The Restless Conscience" (nominated for an Academy Award); "Golden Threads," (featured on PBS); "Turn To Me", and "The Burning Wall". Feature film work includes scores for the independent features "Broadway Damage" and "Comeback" and the TV films "Good Old Boy" and "Seasonal Differences". TV shows: "Nova", "Nature", "National Geographic Explorer", "Intimate Portrait", MTV's "Art Break", PBS' "New Television" and music for over 100 animations on "Sesame Street". He has a Masters degree in music composition from Columbia University.[1]
