Performance Notes
Here’s a classic TV/Movie theme that your audience will enjoy! The higher/smaller bongo should be set-up on the player’s left. Make sure the drum-set player performs the opening hi-hat splashes/crashes through bar 18. For authenticity, have the bass player use a pick. When rehearsing, isolate all players that have the same rhythmic part, then have the entire ensemble play in unison. This will help in bringing the 5/4 grooves together.
