Sharon Hershey, a composer who studied with George Crumb - and who wrote a subtly simple setting of an Easter text, ``At Early Dawn They Rise to Come, for the Lady Chapel Singers - says that her music directly relates to her spirituality. Indeed, she has given up writing concert music - she has had works performed both here and abroad - to concentrate exclusively on the writing of sacred music under the pseudonym Marion.[1]
