Born: June 10, 1929
Country: Satu Mare, Romania
Studies: Satu Mare Conservatory (1945-49), Cluj Conservatory (1949-57)
Teachers: Sigismund Toduta
Vasile Herman, studied piano in his hometown, and composition with Demian, Todu-ä, and Comes at the Cluj Cons. (1949–57), where he subsequently was appointed to its staff. His music is cautiously modernistic, with occasional overflow into aleatorie indeterminacy.[1]
