A veteran of the United States Army, he served at Fort Riley, Kansas as Creative Director of the U.S. Army Band. He was a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. Ted was a prolific composer and educator in the employ of Fredonia State University College. He was a world traveler, an avid skier, a skilled fisherman, and possessed a great love of animals.[1]
