Czech composer. He studied composition at the Prague Conservatory E.Hlobila (1952-1956) and at the Academy for P.Bořkovce and then again at E.Hlobila (1956-1960). Many of his works had their premieres abroad (Serenade for Salzburg, Salzburger Festspiele to order 1979 ff.).
