Daniel Berg, marimba soloist and chamber musician, combines a large concert activity with teaching. He teaches soloist percussion and chamber music and is a lecturer in musical design at the University of Stage and Music in Gothenburg, the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the University of Music in Örebro.

Daniel's music is warm to the heart and some of the people he collaborates with are Fredrik Duvling in Rhythm Art Duo and actor Henric Holmberg. His passion for new chamber music for percussion has resulted in over 200 performances. As a soloist he often participates in international percussion festivals and has recorded a large number of discs with marimban in the center. Daniel has a close collaboration with the French marimba company Bergerault, which sponsors him with the latest marimbers and the Spanish company Elite Mallets, which manufactures marimba clubs. For them, he has designed two series of marimba clubs, Daniel Berg Signature , which are sold worldwide. [1]
