Cristian is Timpanist and Percussion Principal of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador. Percussion Teacher of the Faculty of Arts of the National Central University of Ecuador. During his stay as a student in Ukraine, Cristian was awarded in high-level competitions:

  • Grand Prix – Soloist category – the International Competition of Young Performers “XXI Century Art” – Kiev, Ukraine – 2009 (with his own works).
  • First prize – Ensemble category – the International Competition of Young Performers “XXI Century Art” – Kiev, Ukraine – 2009
  • First prize – Soloist – Wind and Percussion Instruments Soloists Competition “Stepan Ganich” – L´viv, Ukraine – 2007

As a soloist and composer, he is consolidated as one of the most distinguished young representatives of his nation. His dedication, energy, and musicality characterize his way of conceiving a musical idea and then expressing it to the audience. Cristian´s works were performed by himself, prestigious orchestras and soloists in Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Brazil, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina and Ecuador. Likewise, Cristian is a founding member of the prestigious “4enQuito” Ensemble and is part of the violin-percussion “Sense2Wood” duo together with the renowned violinist Diana Melikhova. Cristian is a PERCUSIÓN ECUADOR Artist.
