Program Notes

A Poem for I may seem like a strange title at first glance. However, the full title is ‘Artificial Poem for Intelligence’. The abbreviation of this title refers to AI, the technique used to generate the song text for this work. This composition is a beautiful, catchy work for 4-part choir, accompanied by a percussion ensemble. Composer Frank Wardenier knows better than anyone how to create a beautiful crossover between the worlds of choir and percussion music. Although the text here was conceived by a computer, composing remains a true craft of the composer.
